Nights of Lebanon
 
Rich in calcium, phosphorus, vitamin B2 and contains phytic acid.

Cooking Time (min): 10 min
Serves 4

Ingredients

1 sachet, misk
1 tsp sugar, granulated

2 cups kashta
6 slice toast bread, white without boarders
1 cup milk powder, skim
2 tbsp sugar granulated
2 cups water
2 tbsp flower blossom water

2 tbsp pistachio, coarsely ground
1 tbsp pine nuts, roasted
1 tbsp almond, roasted

1 banana, sliced

Preparation

Crush the misk with the sugar and set aside.

Cut the toast bread into small cubes (1 x 1 cm) and place them in a pot.
Mix the milk, sugar, water and flower blossom water in the handmixer. Pour over the bread and stir the pot continuously under medium heat.
When the kashta starts to thicken, add the crushed misk and stir for a bit.
Pour the Kashta in the serving dish.

Decorate with the pistachio, pine nuts and almonds.

Cool the dish for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Right before serving, decorate the dish with banana slices.

Serve cold with honey
