Ingredients
2 cups semolina flour
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp anis powder
¾ cup vegetable oil
1 cup molasses
1 cup water
Cooking spray
2 tbsp sesame seeds, raw
Method of Preparation
Mix the semolina, flour, baking powder and anis in a bowl using a spoon.
Add the oil, molasses and water gradually to the flour mixture and combine until homogeneous, using an electric cake mixer.
Spray a pan (35 × 22 cm) with the oil spray. Pour the sfouf batter and spread it evenly.
Bake the pan in a preheated oven (180ºC) for 30 min or until the sfouf are well cooked.
Put the pan on the side for 10 min to cool at room temperature.
Cut sfouf into 24 pieces (5x6 cm) and serve it.
